Our chiropractic assessment takes a close look at your child's body structure and function. Whether there is balance and symmetry in how their body moves and how they use it.
From there we take particular note of how the nervous system including the brain is working.
For each infant, child or teen we want to assess if they
- Move with efficiency and ease? Or things aren't smooth and take a lot of effort?
- Are they balanced and well co-ordinated in their crawling, walking, running? Or can you see imbalances?
- Do they know where they are in space well? Or are they constantly running into things or tripping?
- Do they function efficiently and have good energy reserves for exercise and play & keep up with peers? Or do they tire easily and regularly complain?
- Have good posture & balance? Or can you see slumping, tilting or rounding?

Our Chiropractic team uses the latest assessment tools and systems to provide you with the best care possible.
We use a specific comprehensive paediatric program and its detailed examination process to help identify the areas your child’s spine and nervous system is functioning well and the areas that may require attention.
We listen to your concerns and work with your values and health goals to find the best steps forward.
Our individually created detailed care plans help us provide you with the most appropriate care management plan that may include chiropractic care, specific neurodevelopment exercises and/or additional home support where necessary.
We will always let you know when co-management or referral to another practitioner is needed.
